CrackOn

Terms of service

Last updated 22 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-22

These terms are an agreement between CrackOn (“we”, “us”) and the business that signs up (“you”). By creating an account or using CrackOn you agree to them on behalf of your business. Questions: hello@crackon.au.

1. The service

CrackOn is online software for running a trade business: customers, scheduling, quotes, invoices, payments, compliance records and related features. We may improve and change features over time. If we remove a feature you rely on in a significant way, we’ll tell you in advance where we reasonably can.

2. Your account

3. Your data

4. Messages sent through CrackOn

CrackOn sends emails and text messages to your customers when you ask it to (for example booking confirmations, reminders, quotes and invoices). You’re the sender of those messages. You must only send commercial messages to people who have consented, as the Spam Act 2003 requires, and you must honour opt-outs. CrackOn records customers’ opt-outs and includes your business’s identity in messages to help you comply.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t use CrackOn to:

We may suspend access that breaches this section, telling you why where we reasonably can.

6. Compliance records

CrackOn helps you produce records such as chemical application records, notices and inspection reports, but you remain responsible for their accuracy and for meeting the licensing and record-keeping rules that apply to your business. Templates and checks in CrackOn are aids, not legal or regulatory advice.

7. Fees

CrackOn is currently free during early access. Before we start charging, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice of the price, and you can stop using the service and take your data out before any fee applies. Payment processing fees charged by providers such as Stripe, for payments your customers make to you, are between you and that provider.

8. Third-party services

Some features connect to services such as Stripe, Xero or Jobber. Your use of those services is under their terms. We’re not responsible for them, but we’ll handle the connection securely.

9. Availability and support

We aim to keep CrackOn available and to fix problems quickly, but we don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We back up data regularly. Support is by email at hello@crackon.au.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop using CrackOn and close your account at any time by emailing us. We can end this agreement with 30 days’ notice, or immediately if you seriously breach these terms. After closure we’ll give you at least 30 days to export your data, then delete it, except where the law requires us to keep it.

11. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that can’t lawfully be excluded. Where our liability for a failure to meet a consumer guarantee can lawfully be limited, it’s limited to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.

12. Liability

To the extent the law allows:

You’re responsible for claims against us arising from your data or your breach of these terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here with a new date and email account holders at least 14 days before a significant change takes effect. Continuing to use CrackOn after that means you accept the change.

14. General

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms, with the privacy policy and data handling page, are the whole agreement about CrackOn.
